Everything you need to know before booking your Tanzania trip.
Do I need a visa to visit Tanzania?
Most nationalities can obtain a Tanzania e-Visa online before arrival, or a visa on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). We recommend applying for the e-Visa in advance to avoid queues.
How fit do I need to be to climb Kilimanjaro?
No technical climbing experience is required, but a good level of cardiovascular fitness significantly improves your comfort and summit chances. We recommend hiking training in the months before your climb.
What is included in the tour price?
Park fees, professional guides and porters, camping or hut fees, all meals on the mountain, and airport transfers are included. International flights, tips, and personal gear are not included unless stated.
Which Kilimanjaro route has the best success rate?
Longer routes with more acclimatization days, such as the 9-Day Northern Circuit and 8-Day Lemosho, consistently show the highest summit success rates.
Is it safe to travel in Tanzania?
Tanzania is one of the more stable and welcoming countries in East Africa for tourism. Our guides carry satellite communication and first-aid training on every mountain and safari trip.
What vaccinations do I need?
Yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from an endemic country. We also recommend consulting a travel clinic about malaria prophylaxis, typhoid, and routine vaccinations.
Can I customize an itinerary?
Yes. Every tour on this site can be adjusted for dates, duration, and add-ons. Contact us via WhatsApp with your preferences and we'll tailor a plan.
